Etymology: the fact that I have a research paper on pornography due tomorrow, but I've nothing to say.
Usage: "Why is the mainstream media constantly portmanstinating on discussing the two wars and impending ecological catastrophe by running periodic news stories about 'sexting' which I'm not even sure is a real thing that teenagers do?"
